So after finally settling in to my very first home away from home (off campus!), I have been given the responsibility of cooking for myself, eeek! To my greatest surprised, I have actually managed to whip up some pretty delicious meals. The trick here is to experiment: not once did I follow a recipe, I just started throwing things together! My favourite meal by far has got to be what I made last night, cajun honey mustard pork loins with mushrooms and tomatoes, with a side of rice!

Mmmmm. Now I just need to keep this up! Hopefully, this food porn will hold you over until I jump back to my blogging routine!

Hey ladies (and possibly gents!)

It's been a long few weeks (packing, moving into my house, leading frosh orientation, etc.), but I've finally have time to actually sit down and take an hour or two to do absolutely nothing! I apologize for my lack of posts, but you shall see many soon enough! I have a great back to school fall fashion post in the works, so watch out for that! Until then! (:

Club Monaco's latest collection to hit the stores is their amazing fall line - it's very chic and simple and not to painful on the wallets (what am I saying - I can't afford anything from CM on a college student's budget!) But I do have to say, it's a great way to build a wardrobe with a designer feel without the designer price tag! This line is very fresh and follows the essence of Club Monaco - clean cut, sharp, tailored, and flawless. If I could afford to, I'd definitely snatch up almost all of the items! Below are some of my favourites:

...literally. I thought we were going to roadtrip it with the family and friends to Sault Ste. Marie, but apparently not. And my parents say I'm unorganized...

With a mere 7 hours to go, the parentals are figuring out where we're heading to, with NO hotels or activities planned. It's pretty frustrating, and I'm trying to keep my cool. Regardless, I'm packed and ready to go anywhere but here! I need some away time from my room and computer anyways.
